Spoon Greetings

Found this adorable Etsy shop:  For Such A Time Designs while cruising the internet and of course I can’t help checking each picture and thinking who I know might be perfect for each spoon, fork or butter knife. Check it out and do some fun present dreaming of your own. See if you can find the photographer reflected in each spoon photo. Yes! I AM enticing you to spend a hour of your life wrapped up in observation, or worse…shopping!    I admit it. The busy world will...

New Faucet

Well after months of working GREAT! my much loved Bread Box Suburban, Dana started acting up again. Engine dies when rolling to a stop or at idle. All was well and no one got smooshed when I rolled into the intersection with a putt-putt gasp. Thank you God! I babied her back home and even managed to get her parked right with no power steering…the big girl needs muscle at the wheel when she is coasting engine dead. Thanks for showing me how to do that, Dad. I was so looking forward to a...

Alas Poor Monitor I Knew You Well…

Wednesday Philomena finally gave up and quit! She was a Ten year old Phillips SVGA monitor I clung stubbornly to as others moved to LCD. I promised Jack I would upgrade when she gave out each time he mentioned buying a new monitor. He mentioned it often as Phil turned that sickly color yellow that all old computer plastics do.  Well the time came. Bye-Bye Sweet Love! Clearing the Deck Inspecting the Wall Mount We had the wall mount on another wall and it had to be removed, Annika...

Jack Fixed Lights! WHOOT!

The light in the laundry room has not worked in over a year. It just went out one day and since the roof leaked in that area we attributed it to that. We fixed that section of roof and Jack got ready to fix the light in there on Sunday. Jack got the “bright” idea to switch the old light fixture in the kitchen with a new light we have been oogling and use the old kitchen light fixture in the Laundry Room…which is no longer the laundry room since we moved those appliances …Tool Room? I...

Eureka! Sweet Computorial Satisfaction!

Wednesday I blogged about Photoshop CS4 using Live Writer. Hum-dee-dum-dee. That’s me feeling satisfied and happy. I soon had toast with smashed banana. Rubbed my full belly. Went on my merry way driving here and there and playing with squirrels.   Welcome Thursday or as I remember it… Live Writer Fatal Error Day. Live Writer will not open. Electrical Guys gave us a new transformer out by the road and even though I turned my computer off and unplugged it. When it booted up...
