Work, Work, Bail
Spent all yesterday outside. First, cleaning out the well house. Here are some boring photos of the new washer/dryer set up and the shelves we ( by we, I mean Jack) are going to cut out with the reciprocating saw so the giant air compressor will fit under. Not unlike a built in refrigerator. We have decided to keep my low tech dryer, so we can dry twice as much with 2 dryers. It doesn’t sing the Whirlpool Jingle like the new one. Yet, I can stuff 3 doggie blankets in it. Very helpful in...

Great Day! Sun was out and I didn’t need to haul hose to keep the plants alive. Rosie sent some rain down from her place overnight and the roof didn’t blow off! I am grinning like a fool! Pork Chop Pond is coming along. Wet clay soil is sticky and a challenge to work with, its rained on and off for about 4 days, but when its dry its hard as a rock, so what-cha gonna do? We are getting there. I am wondering now if its going to be big enough? HOOT! These are Monday’s pics when the storms...

Howdy! Well we saved Jack from doing jail time. Phew! My darling speed demon was romping his way through the adjoining county 6 months ago when the Highway Patrol ( Po-Po) nabbed him. Slow it down dude! Well he paid his fine, filled out the paperwork, dropped the lot into the mail. He did it all himself this time. What a grown up! *grin* Well this test of basic skills also had a part B. A form to fill out at the 60 day mark stating “ I did not get a ticket while on speeding probation”...

We took advantage of great weather to rip all the dead morning glory vines from the Don Juan Rose Bush. It sailed through the winter and after 2 years since transplant its starting to invade the driveway clearance with its long trailing habit. We tied up some of its branches. Something it should be too soon for. The smaller Peachy-Pink Rose ( foreground, no name we know of) got the treatment too. Its still in the planter, but instead of the one sickly branch it started...

Oh! What a great weekend! Dusty, furniture moving, and hunting for stuff kinda weekend! Still great though! I think I slept all day yesterday! LOL! So worth it to have a Monday full of naps! Whoot! Saturday we just sat around mostly, hung out. Enjoyed a Lethal Weapon Marathon! Weee! Then we got hungry, and I wanted to take to boys to the NEW CHINA since they had never been, but they bailed on me. ( imagine me pulling them each horizontal while they try to hold onto the bed posts) So Jack and...

Good Morning ALL! Life is good! Yet, full of decisions, so far Jack and I have made decisions with my health to take this easy and slow. Still I wake up some mornings with bones that moved in the night and muscles that are angry about it. X-rays from yesterday show fluid now in both lungs and a declining capacity, probably as a direct result of all the laying down I am doing. ( taking things easy and slow) SO we are switching our concern away from the seemingly urgent matters of angry muscles...
