Stretch. Yawn. Stretch.
After the massive posts of last Friday, and a mostly lazy weekend. I promised myself to focus some time on the classes I signed up for with Chelle’s Creations and Suzy Q Scraps. I had taken a look at the first few classes and knowing my logo needed work I decided to spend MONDAY going over and over the logo portion of one of the classes. I ended up spending the week. What I realized is, ( duh) a logo represents the design. So if the design style is un-organized how can one come up with a logo until first addressing the design style. The class doesn’t help with this because its a personal journey, but there were plenty of design pointers on making a logo stand the test of time and be the most flexible. Really useful information once you know what you want. Back to deciding on a design style…Unlike my real life, my design life was a mostly about going along with what other people were doing. Conformity. I might be changing it up here or there, but it was still going along enough to dampen my own enthusiasm. No wonder I can’t finish a full size kit! I get halfway through and have no more inspiration. I kill it by telling myself no. My hard-drive is littered with such unfinished work. It all stops at the point at which something amazing could have happened if I had said yes.
I am exercising my YES MUSCLE now and it feels good!
Above you will see my new logo and tagline. I love it!
I started replacing old previews. Or I thought I was just replacing old previews. It led to pulling products that just don’t paddle my canoe anymore and the stuff I love that’s become so dated it hollers for a retro fit. While I do this its a bit messy at the store with all the different previews there. Could be confusing with items here today gone tomorrow. Just so you know, no plans for any retiring product sales. If I don’t love it why should I make a sale of it?
What WILL be on sale are the products that make the cut. 30% off anything with a new preview. It will go on until only new previews remain.

Chalkies I LOVE so I didn’t change the files. One other NEW thing: No dropshadow on the styles so no dropshadow on the preview. I have always felt odd shading things in the preview that have no shadow on the files, except they look so good with shadows! HOOT! Still I’m sticking to it, for clarity. You don’t have to scan the whole description to see if its a shaded Layer Style or not.

LOVED them yet they were so dated with the blue tint. Time for an update.
New Snowflakes, new Flurries. Cleaner. More Variety.
Added Sheets as well while I was at it so now these can be enjoyed by PSP users as well as Gimp, paint.net and Serif. So exciting!
Its nice to say YES!

Happy Friday! So glad your here!
