Merry Christmas: Almost Time to Make Pie!
Such a glorious morning, the kids and Daddy Jack are all in bed. I have vision of pie making dancing in my head. Our Mystery Guest, Raccoon Girl/Boy just rumbled by my window on its way to bed…wherever that is. Fresh from terrorizing the ducks in their little duck house I am guessing. The chicken for today’s chicken soup is baking, the ham for tomorrow is defrosting as is the cookie dough, pie crust dough, and the rolly dough…let me just say dough again. Dough. Old cat Luna Marie ( 18...

or should I say “ Timely Ramble” We here do not do the Christmas Hustle Bustle if anything we drop out of sight at this time of year. So I am not going to tell you I have been too busy to blog you all, or I give you a list of accomplishments so you know good things were happening while I was away from you to justify my silence. Good Things WERE happening but mostly in my mind. Uh-Oh! Here we go! LOL! My boys have had back to back colds the last week as have I, but I was feeling...

Saving Saving Styles is best done outside of the Photoshop program. New to you? The more you load into Photoshop the slower it goes, the more resources Photoshop needs from your computer to open and function properly… the more likely it is to crash unexpectedly too. If you don’t already have a method of storing scrapbooking materials make a Design Folder on your main drive or better yet on a secondary drive dedicated to scrapbook graphics that can easily be backed up. The easier it...

It started a year ago November as a fun group activity with a few other designer friends and whittled down to just me. I found working it alone not as fun, but still managed to turn some freebies in a few times a week. Last month it started feeling like homework. Late Homework…even worse! So pulled the links from...

Stretch. Yawn. Stretch. After the massive posts of last Friday, and a mostly lazy weekend. I promised myself to focus some time on the classes I signed up for with Chelle’s Creations and Suzy Q Scraps. I had taken a look at the first few classes and knowing my logo needed work I decided to spend MONDAY going over and over the logo portion of one of the classes. I ended up spending the week. What I realized is, ( duh) a logo represents the design. So if the design style is...
