Nathan Saves.

Posted on Sep 16, 2011

Nate and I went to our friend Kay’s to pick up some cages for acclimatizing possums before release.  We keep them in smaller cages inside when they are babies, but to increase their chances of survival in the wild we give them a chance at what it feels like to be outdoors and tune up their possum senses. Kay was fine enough to give us some of her outdoor caging so we didn’t have to make our own. Phew! Saves us SO much time! Thanks Kay!

So we headed to her house and Nate and I hear a baby kitten under her porch. So Nate crawled through this little space to fetch it.

A really cute kitty girl too.

This little one is safe and sound back with her mommy and siblings. All look like this 1 boy, 4 girls. Cute!

Contact: Kay Singleton if you are close to Dallas Metro Area and want to be a forever home for one of these Sweeties.

Happy Weekend, Kiddos!

Thanks Stine! Nathan is pretty proud he did it. Lots of nasty bugs and snakes could be down there yet he went in! Kitty Cat Hero!

Nate, so proud of you saving skills. I too thought of bugs and snakes. Wow! you are good. Luv Granny

Thanks Granny, I thought of keeping the kitten, but after looking at it from all angles I don’t have time to care for a new kitten and Peedie and the squirrels. So I will let someone else take her.
    Love you. Nathan James Cates.
