Roses Busting Out!

We took advantage of great weather to rip all the dead morning glory vines from the Don Juan Rose Bush.

It sailed through the winter and after 2 years since transplant its starting to invade the driveway clearance with its long trailing habit. We tied up some of its branches. Something it should be too soon for. 

The smaller  Peachy-Pink Rose ( foreground, no name we know of) got the treatment too. Its still in the planter, but instead of the one sickly branch it started with its busted out with several bits and nozzles. Never expected this one to make it. Weee! Nice to see it still kickin’!!

Nathan pricked his finger and fell over like Sleeping Beauty. No dogs around when Sleeping Beauty did her thing or she would have woke up to defend herself from their “Care”

Cherry Pie looks on like she is saying “ Fools he’s so NOT dead!” With age comes wisdom. If you’re a Beagle.

I used these new brushes I made ( will be in April’s Design Toolbox) for the papers above.

Surprisingly its the texture brushes underneath that made the polka dot overlay look so motley cool when applied! I learned something new and now so did you! Weeee! I am looking through my overlays…those I was going to chunk because I have worn them out from overuse. Or so I thought! LOL! Amazing how a new brush set could bring those old favorite overlays NEW life!

In addition to the April Design Toolbox coming up for sale in a few days, Kristine’s Place will have some surprises in store too. So look for all kinds of yummy stuff coming up Friday, April Fools Day!

Reminder: Last Days, and I DO mean last days. As many of you know I leave things on sale longer than I say I do, but I have am finding it hard to keep it all straight. I have to start turning the sales off on time. I will be turning off ALL previous design toolboxes on April 1st when this newest one goes up. For sanity sake! *grin*
