We all know what to do with lemons, but what does one do with heaps of good fortune? Its been raining daisies lately… Is there no wisdom from ages about embarrassment by riches? Don’tcha think Daisy-aide would be as bad for drinking as it is for the daisies being squished? Just say no to Daisy-aide.

Here is just a taste of our life without lemons…
*Jack assigned to a new location at work, Newly built with all the bells and whistles, 21minutes from home and surrounded with people who care about patients as much as he does. Jack happy! Very, very happy! ( story later)
* Jack’s 1982 Class Ring gets found after 29 years.
* A Newpaper wants to do a story on Jack and his lost and found ring.
*Relatives we knew we had, but seldom get around to talking to are contacting us, because of the media buzz. So cool to pick up the phone and it not be a salesperson. Really nice.
* Jodiann’s Recovery is coming to a end. Quickly! Weeee! Good Health is priceless!
*Jodiann dodges hospital stay/ lung drainage. PheW!
* Jodiann Settles ER bill magically. Almost TOO easy! ( another story for later)
*Jodiann’s Sour Milk Chocolate Waffles win Runner-Up in Recipe Contest! ( tell you that one when the magazine comes out.)
*Jodiann’s Blog-oversary Tomorrow! 2 whole years! Yahoo!
*Weighing in at 173 this morning, Jodiann has now lost a whopping 45lbs. (20+kilos or 3 stone+) That’s like setting down a good size toddler! Only one more toddler to let go! WHoo HOO!
*Jodiann officially no longer needs high blood pressure medication. I have no adjectives to describe how great this is!
*Jodiann no longer needs any medication of any kind, back to taking just vitamins and stuff.
* A month ago, Jodiann could NOT comb her own hair or pull on her own socks. Plus hundreds of other things she could not do. Today, after completely dressing her own self and combing her own hair… she helped (a tiny little bit, but it still counts.) move a sofa downstairs and out to the trash trailer. I thought my helpful days might be over.
*Jodiann has been cleared to begin Yoga and light exercise. Weeee!

Thanks Rosie! I AM SOOOOO sassy today! HOOT! Mixed it up with some lady at the gas station. She won, but I am looked ing for a rematch! LOL! She stole the pump spot I was trying to back out of since myself and a frail old couple got to it at the same time. I wasn’t going to steal a spot from an old couple. While I was backing out she swooped in.
I got a bit sassy in the walk up to her car *taptaptap* What are you thinking, have some respect! Back up and let these folks have a go, its cold and windy…young people like us can wait. She called the attendant and they tried the cop thing on me…Step away from the vehicle! LOL!
I found that laughing at this moment makes people very nervous! HOOT! Anyway. I tried to convince the attendant, but the moment I turned away this lady hopped out of her car and started gassing up. I have no words for how low that is.
I reminded her she will be old someday and the world is cruel to the old. She just smurked and flipped me off.
Whatcha gonna do? Except give in to temptation and let her have it…go to the bad-wife impound and wait for my Jack to bring money. Bring Money, Your Wife is Stupid! I backed down like a sissy and did not walk around her car and give her was she was begging for. My Sassy, I get to keep! And I am sleeping at home tonight too! *smile*
I’m thinking I won’t gas up there anymore. Cheapest gas in town is not worth the grief I see there every time I go.

I love lemons! I can’t pass one up, in fact. I start drooling when I even think of a lemon. One night, years back, my youngest daughter and I were chilling in the living room. I thought of lemons and shushed my girl to ask if she could hear the lemon calling. She thought I had lost my freakin’ mind! LOL
Lemons make a wonderful salt substitute, too. Squeeze a little on a veggie pizza. It not only brings out the flavor of the veggies, but, the tomato sauce is better, too! I can go on. LOL
Hugs for you! You’ve been through quite the ordeal lately, eh? It’s nice to know I’m not the only one who hangs out at gas stations getting into trouble. (I got assaulted in a grocery store a couple years ago.) The nerve of that witch! (Toss “w”; add “b”)

Just Lemons talking? Jack Swears his recliner calls him to come for a sit. The other day I made brownies before bed and the next day they were still there. ( ALL my men are night eaters)
We just figured they didn’t scream “come eat me” to anyone. LOL! No worries, they are all gone now. Keeping silent didn’t help them any! Blarg! Brownie Pirates!
