Hey Folks!

Tonight marks the 5th night of  Hanukkah. I once asked a child I was babysitting ( I was 12, no more than a child myself) who was celebrating this glorious holiday and she was so excited to tell me all she knew. I was in awe! She knew more about her observance than I did of Christmas. Real Christmas. I knew plenty of Santa Claus! *wink*

One of the best things about Homeschool is it allows us to explore the culture and religious observances of others. Its a wonderful way to find common ground with the world’s people. Especially those who may be a mystery to us. Is amazing how alike we are!
