They’re Here!
My new friend, Rosemary H. has sent me some Morning Glory Seeds to try and fill up my ugly spot out by the road.
Boy Howdy! There are a lot of seeds in here! Thanks Ro!! Look how cute she labeled the back of the package!
I wanted to get started planting them right away…
…but I read I have to soak them overnight first or go at them with a knife and give them a nick on the pointy end. Um! I am good with knives…yet, cutting the tiny tips of a very hard seed just enough to make a difference but not so much as to kill the seed or lose fingertips got me thinkin’. Let’s soak.
…tomorrow we plant! WHOO HOO!
Thanks Again Ro!

Lucky girl! Yasha won’t let me plant them – they’re kin to bind weed, so they’d get killed off immediately! LOL

HOOT! Bindweed, is considered a Texas Wildflower by half the people here and a blight by the other half! Where we live its not a problem because the soil is so poor for gardening most folks run cattle not farm. I think its safe for cattle to eat so no bindweed here! LOL!
Love the Doodle Flower Card Darlin!!
