Yesterday kicked my butt! I am not going to say I am too old for hard physical work, bite your tongue! I am not going to say I am too delicate either.  ‘morning! I have to share this nutty little story,  The brown beetles have been having a party on our front porch for the last few nights. I wake up to groggy post-rave beetles turning circles the in the dog dishes and, fish them out of the water bowls. The few unlucky souls stuck to the porch mat, get freed.  Layout for DSO Color Challenge Miss Lily left us years ago, but not before she taught us that Great Danes can sing like birds instead of whine, and to play a mean game of Lily Ball! Corn Flakes

After YEARS avoiding corn flakes, I ate them enough as a kid. Well, something nostalgic came over me and I tossed one of those gigantic boxes in my shopping cart. MMM! What is it about corn flakes?  Frosted Flakes  ( rolled in sugar, dried, rolled again) can be too hard, but corn flakes are crisp, flake-y perfection.  My mom bought corn flakes,  rice crispies, cheerios, and puffed rice because they all had no sugar. Their here!  As sure as the sun’s gonna rise, bluebonnets arrive on the roadsides in this part of Texas each spring.
